The story begins with a devotee named Pundalik.

So absorbed in serving his parents, he made even Krishna wait.

When the Lord arrived, Pundalik didn’t rush. He simply threw a brick… and asked Him to stand there.

And He did.

Vitthal still stands on that brick today—not as a king to be worshipped, but as a God who waits for love.

This is not just a temple. It is the heart of a movement.

Every year, thousands of pilgrims walk for days… sometimes weeks… carrying the presence of these saints in the Wari.
